Southern Girls 'Classy Colour Combo' Challenge

I feel like I'm slowly catching up on my project life! yay! Its always hard when you have to take a small break to do things such as giving birth, lol, as it just feels like it takes forever to get back on top!! But when you LOVE what you do, it doesn't really matter. And it's kinda nice looking back at photos reflecting on the months just been. I think I had about 10 pages dedicated to the first couple of days following the birth of number 2...but here I am, already up to the first week of March where she is 5 months old!! And inspired by Southern Girls 'Classy Colour Combo' Challenge, it was a fun page to put together!

A human jungle gym

I feel so so lucky to be a stay at home mum to our gorgeous two girls. While they are starting to 'interact'  and play together, I still love getting down on the ground with them...Miss 2 year old always heads straight for my back and miss busy body 8 month old thinks I'm a great object to practice her standing on. Definitely feel like a jungle gym at times, but wouldn't trade it for the world!

I have placed this spread into Clique Kits 'anything goes' challenge.

A Sunny Winters Day

I have been busting to scrap these gorgeous pics from the start of June. I love them for a few reasons, firstly- I love watching little miss and her daddy play, secondly- this wee one has had a fear of sand..which was been tricky when we only live 5 minutes from the beach so when she was happy to take off her shoes and run around bare foot, I was so proud of her! And lastly- it's a week into winter and the fact that it was warm enough to play on the beach was just AWESOME! What a magical place we live in!

When I saw Sassy Scrappers June Moodboard- I knew it was time to get these photos done.
Love the colours and the quote 'all of me loves all of you'..totally appropriate for this page! I have also put this into Clique Kits 'anything goes' challenge :-)

Frozen Fever

FROZEN FEVER!!! My niece turned 4 in the weekend and she had a 'Frozen' theme for her party. My Miss 2.5 year old was MOST excited about that as she just adores Frozen..I never knew that such a young little 'being could become so obsessed with something! Lol!! Anyhow, while my hubby spoilt our big girl with a new frozen dress, I saw a cute idea on Etsy for a tutu and thought that would be perfect for our little bubba who is crawling everywhere..I just had to make sure it was short enough that she wouldn't trip on it. I had a lot of fun getting the outfit together- LOTS of strips of fabric knotted over a piece of elastic, a flower with a Frozen gem stitched onto a plain white onesie, and 'misted' colour resist flowers with blue gems glued on stitched to the laces, and a piece of sequin elastic with also with a flower and gem on. Too cute!! So easy, so much fun to make and so adorable!! If I was to make it again though, I would leave the satin fabric off as bits pulled off it like no tomorrow and made bit of a mess :-/ but was worth it for the cuteness ;-)

I also used left over fabric to make the ribbon for the parcel!! Oh and the card- SO easy- alphas stuck down, a couple of chipboard asterisks, some page protector cut to size and stitched on 3 sides, fill with sequins and stitch to close!
Have pinned this to my Pinterest board also!

Jot's June Mood Board

What is NOT delicious about Jot's June Mood Board!?! LOVE IT!! So here's my entry into the challenge. Had a blast making this page (especially finding the 'flamingo alphabet' in the Silhouette store) and it had a 'warming' effect as I listened to the rain fall on the roof while I pulled the page together.

Nothing better than a warm summers day, eating watermelon with your favourite little friend, who is also your cousin.
