First Challenges- Bimini Moose and Jot Magazine

Alright..here goes my first go at challenges.. First Challenge- Bimini Moose Scrapbook Challenge with Optional Twist- This Day in History. I saw this challenge and instantly knew I wanted to do a photo of both my daughters from when they were the same age. While it is not massive history, it is making history and one day I hope they enjoy looking back at their similarities and differences! And the second challenge is Jot Magazines May 2015 Mood Board. This mood board reflects my absolutely FAVOURITE colours to use at the moment 'black, aqua, teal, pink...with black script and a touch of chrome/silver'. Definitely inspiring!

Both the 'REWIND' and the 'I love you to the stars and back' are clear pockets which I love to include in my pages as when they're put in the album it gives you a sneak peek at the following page!

Panoramic Photo Pocket Pages

Sometimes there are occasions when I have A LOT of photos from one event that couldn't possibly fit onto a single page or double page spread ;-) Like my girl turning two... so many photos...so hard to choose! My solution, using Becky Higgins Project Life (Heidi Swapp Collection) Panoramic Photo Pages...and a waterfall style flip open album (I used the Simple Story Photo Flips but am looking forward to trying the new We R Memory Keepers waterfall photo sleeves). Perfect! So here it is...

Hello 2015

Last year I opted to use 6x8 albums for my PL...but after I could only fit 3 months into each album so I have gone back to using the trusty 12x12 album. Here's hoping I'll only need 2 albums to get me through to December, from which I will continue my December Daily tradition in a 6x8 album. Heres a peek into Jan 2015.....

Love using different fonts in my titles!

Getting Started!

I am very excited to get my blog underway! Still learning the ropes but have a very clever mum that is helping me.Thanks mum! Lots of things to learn... not only to do with using a blog, but also good ways to photograph my pages. Its a tricky one as so many of my pages have embellishments on top of the page so getting the photos out of the pocket for clearer pics isn't always an option! I shall do my best to get the best photos, and no doubt I will continue finding better ways to capture my work! And I'm open to any suggestions on how to combat the photography side of things too! But to start... a fun page I did using the new We R Memory Keepers Fuse Tool. Creating a 6x4 space into 2x2 spaces with an added flip out page too. So much fun! I have also included a photo of what the page looks like from the back. Enjoy!
